One of Guyana’s premier youth organizations, the Progressive Youth Organization (PYO), wishes to express its profound sadness at the passing of one of the world’s most celebrated athletes and personalities who has not only reshaped the corridors of history but has left an indelible impression on the minds of young people across the world.
“We believe strongly that youths here and abroad can learn a lot of lessons from the humility, coverage and perseverance, commitment to excellence in sports, politics and overall drive of Muhammad Ali,” the PYO stated.
