In an effort to expand Lawn Tennis throughout the country the Guyana Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) has decided to host grassroots tennis programs to equip physical education teachers with the basic knowledge of the sport. Grenada’s Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell said he resigned as Chairman of Caricom’s sub-committee on cricket governance because he was angered by the behaviour of “a couple of our leaders in the region”.
