Canadian mining firm Reunion Manganese Inc on Thursday, January 26, said it will spend approximately US$ 250 million at its Matthews Ridge, North West District project. Cocaine worth US$ 72,500 found in Jamaica-bound vessel

Agents of the Customs and Drug Enforcement Unit last Friday night made a 2.5 kilogrammes (kg) drug bust at the John Fernandes Wharf during a routine inspection of an intransit vessel. According to information reaching Guyana Times International, the bust was made on a container vessel around 21: 30h.
