Roderick Robertson and Melissa Beverly, both of Diamond Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara, appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts to answer to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. Canadian oil exploration company CGX Energy Inc on Monday, February 10, announced that drilling on the Eagle-1 well located on the company’s Corentyne Petroleum Prospecting Licence has commenced.
