Ramsaran, Yarde in verbal spat over conditions at nursing school

Health Minister Dr Bheri Ramsaran lashed out at the president of the Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) Patrick Yarde after he supported the Guyana Nurses’ Association’s (GNA) threat to halt the further intake of nursing students until an array of problems facing the body is solved. Guyana Goldfields Inc said it has received positive results from a feasibility study for its Aurora Gold Project, which showed that the area has 45.2 million tonnes of ore grading, containing a total of 4.6 million ounces of gold.
