The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) has recorded a whopping Gy$1.103 billion profit after tax for the first six months for the financial year ending on June 30. According to the bank’s Chairman Robin Stoby, the profits reflected that the bank was able to maintain its profitability. The unaudited report on the bank’s financial performance was approved by the Board of Directors on July 18.
