A man is now in Police custody after traffic ranks discovered eight kilograms of marijuana stashed away in a minibus in which he was a passenger. According to information received, about 08:35h on Sunday, the Route 50 minibus was proceeding along a road in the vicinity of Fort Wellington, West Coast Berbice when Police ranks on traffic duty pulled it over after their suspicions were aroused by activities in the bus.
