At a recent site visit to the Industrial Estate in Lethem, South Rupununi, Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo), Business Minister Dominic Gaskin expressed satisfaction with the works being conducted. The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Board, currently meeting in Manila, Philippines, decided to approve Guyana’s application to join the EITI.
