A La Grange, West Bank Demerara man was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment on Monday by Magistrate Clive Nurse when he appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court charged for cultivation of cannabis. Imtiaz “Sancho” Shaheed admitted that he was found tending to ganja plants on May 26 during a Police eradication exercise at Ituni Road, Upper Demerara.
