Shaffen Donette was remanded to prison when she appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged with the possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. The 35-year-old resident of Mahdia, Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni) pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to her by acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus.
