Guyana prison officer remanded for ganja trafficking
A prison officer, who was allegedly caught with cannabis in a bag at the Camp Street Prison, Georgetown, was remanded to prison on Wednesday when he made his first court appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. Cleon Webster, 22, of Lot 2 Golden Grove, West Coast Berbice, denied the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Faith McGusty.
