A 23-year-old man who is accused of stealing chicken was granted bail at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts on Monday. Omalo Dick, of A Field, Sophia, Greater Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus. The charge stated that on June 22, 2019 at Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, he stole 77 kilograms (170 pounds) of chicken valued at G$51,680 from Rawle Burkette.
