A Moruca, Region One (Barima-Waini) man, who launched a cutlass attack on his sisters and a baby during an argument, leaving one dead, was on Wednesday charged for murder and appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. Shaheed “Roger” Khan has been released from prison on Monday and is now in custody of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as he awaits deportation to Guyana. A G$96M disaster management centre will be constructed at Lethem, Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Essequibo).
