Duo remanded over 27kg cocaine hidden in boat

Two men who were recently intercepted and arrested by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) with some 27 kilograms of cocaine concealed in a boat’s bow were arraigned at the Wales Magistrate’s Court. Thirty-five-year-old Latchman Sankar, known as “Jack”, and 47-year-old Muneshwar Dusrajh, known as “Bonny”, denied the charge when they appeared before Magistrate Crystal Lambert on Wednesday. Teen miners accused of stealing gold, cash from boss

Two teen miners appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann Mclennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts on Tuesday charged for stealing a quantity of gold and cash belonging to their employer. Cadeem Baily and Malcolm Payne, both 19 years old, were remanded to prison on a charge of breaking and entering and larceny.
