The Social Protection Ministry, in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has recently concluded an evaluation exercise in Kwakwani, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice) and Timehri, Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica), where construction of Child Advocacy Centres are now underway. Guyana introduces app to help farmers market goods

The Tele-communications Ministry, in collaboration with the Agriculture Ministry, on Tuesday launched a website dubbed FarmersMarket.gy to help farmers sell their produce on both the local and international markets. Brothers remanded to prison for narco trafficking

Two brothers were slapped with a narcotics trafficking charge on Monday and appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. Guyana is now equipped with the “most modern” asphalt plant in the region, which costs in excess of G$488 million, but will aid in producing top quality material, primarily used for road construction.
