The Natural Resources and Environment Ministry is awaiting the judiciary’s decision on the implementation of a ticketing system, which will see penalties applied to litterbugs. Regulations have already been drafted for the implementation of the system, and the ministry is in discussions with the judiciary for the realisation of the penalty aspect of the programme.
